Statistics of Underprivileged women and children in India

• 1 in every 10 children is disabled.
• 70 in every 1000 children born do not make it to their first birthday.

• At least 1 in 3 women and at least 60% of the children are anemic.
• 1 out of every 6 girls, do not live to see her 16th birthday.

• 72% of infants and 52% of married women have anemia.
